All articles in the Journal of Animal Behaviour and Biometeorology (ISSN 2318-1265) are published in full open access. To provide free access to readers and to cover the costs of copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving (DOI), and journal management, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to papers accepted after peer review aid by authors or their institutions: 990 USD (American Dollars). ​

Payment methods:  

• Brazilian authors: payment through PayPal, payment slip, transfer bank, or Pix.

• Authors outside Brazil: payment through PayPal or international bank transfer.

• No additional charges are based on color, pages, figures, or other elements. There is also no article submission fee.

• *An additional 7% is charged when the payment is made by PayPal. This additional refers to the PayPal fee. 

• *An additional 10% is charged when the payment is made by International Bank Transfer. This additional refers to the Bank fees.

APC Waiver

Malque Publishing allows waivers to those corresponding authors based in low-income countries. Our journals grant a 50% discount to authors from countries that the World Bank ranked as Low-income economics.
